Read moreAs 2023 draws to a close once again, it’s time to look back on ASSIST’s activities in 2023. For us, 2023 was a very eventful but also successful year.
The number of Senior Consultants increased positively to 17 by the end of November.

At the 7th December 2023 we could welcome 19 Students and 11 Senior Consultants in the Villa Eberhard.
The medieval town of Nördlingen was the destination of a group of international students on a day trip organised by ASSIST. The picturesque town was founded in the early Middle Ages and is part of the so-called “Romantic Road” in Germany.

Dear International Students,
as already mentioned ASSIST offers in 2025 various new activities like the visits to interesting places in Ulm etc.
The second element is that we start with a series of “ Assist Stammtisch Meet & Talk” events on
3rd May/31st May and finally 26th July. Include this dates into your dairy.
On 14th October 14 Students and 4 Senior Consultants participated in an enchanting visit to Castle Lichtenstein, a place where fairy tales come to life amidst the stunning landscapes of the Swabian Alb. we got as promised a royal promises history, beauty, and awe-inspiring vistas. In a Guided Castle Tour we explored the rich history and architectural splendor of Castle Lichtenstein. Our knowledgeable guide showed us the halls and chambers, sharing fascinating stories and insights about this medieval gem.
Read moreFor Saturday the 9th September, ASSIST invited the international students of the University of Ulm too met for a game event called “Ackergolf”.
The day has been a beautiful sunny day. We have been a small group of Students and Senior Consultants but very motivated to enjoy the Game.
Despite the early departure, all registered participants were on time and enjoyed the coolness of the morning. By train we went to Riedlingen and then by bus to Zwiefalten. After a short walk through the park, we were already at Zwiefalten Cathedral, the first highlight of the day.
Read moreIn ideal excursion weather we drove with 3 cars and a total of 13 participants ( 9 Students from 6 Countries) through the summery landscape of the Swabian Alb to Bad Urach. Some of the fields had already been harvested.

For the first time ASSIST invited to an excursion to Constance at Lake Constance. The response to the invitation was overwhelming: more than 40 interested people signed up for only 25 places.
Read moreSaturday the 27th of May 2023, 20 students from 14 countries were ready for a beautiful day at Lake Constance with the stations Salem-Affenberg and Pfahlbauten in Unteruhldingen. The weather was excellent and everyone was in a good mood. Unfortunately the Bundesbahn had something in store for us, the train was cancelled, so we had to reschedule the day. But this was no reason to lose our good mood.

Eight Students and one senior consultant started with full energy into the Day
but have had to learn that due to „two“ defect trains the journey to Biberach
was delayed by 45minutes and so we missed the connecting BUS to Bad Buchau.
On 18th March 2023 the Assist Excursion took place to Friedrichshafen at the lake of Konstanz . The theme of the Excursion is “City/Lake & History” in the famous city of Friedrichshafen, with the 2 Museums Dornier & Zeppelin which both explain the aerospace history in Baden Württemberg and Germany.
