ASSIST Event: “Spark Fire” in Illerzell on 18th February

A group Eight international students and some senior consultants visited the “spark fire” in Illerzell.
Such traditional events take place, especially in southern Germany.

They mark the end of the winter and beginning of the spring. Large piles of wood a burned in spark fires to symbolically to drive away the winter and celebrate the new life and growth in nature. It is also an opportunity for the community come together with food , drinks and musical entertainment.
