Read moreThe ASSISt-Team is pleased to offer you an excursion on Saturday 6th July 2024 to Zwiefalten and the Wimsen Cave.
During this excursion you experience a wonderful Barock Church, a Brewery , a short hiking tours to a natural valley and an underground boot Tripp.
On Saturday, June 15, our group of international students from Ulm set off on a day trip to Lake Constance in the pouring rain. We traveled by train, bus and ferry to Constance, where the sun rose as soon as we arrived. Our tour of the historic old town could therefore begin under ideal conditions.

This is not German lessons in the classical format but is based on personal exchange of topics determined by the learner.
The focus is on the ability to hear, understand, interpret and use language in response.
Therefore, we focus on communication in German, the existing gaps are supplemented with English and also with the explanation in German.
This is intended to overcome barriers to speak in German.
ASSIST and Leo Leutze offered on 25th Mai 2024 the opportunity to participate in the design of a board game including the rule set.
Three Student and two Assist SCs participated.
Leo is a former Physics Teacher and has already, during his active time, developed games to support the lessons.

This huge cave was the site where the so-called “Venus of Hohle Fels” was found in 2008. The figure, carved from mammoth ivory, is 40,000 years old and the oldest depiction of a human found anywhere in the world.

The number of Senior Consultants increased positively to 17 by the end of November.

The medieval town of Nördlingen was the destination of a group of international students on a day trip organised by ASSIST. The picturesque town was founded in the early Middle Ages and is part of the so-called “Romantic Road” in Germany.

On 14th October 14 Students and 4 Senior Consultants participated in an enchanting visit to Castle Lichtenstein, a place where fairy tales come to life amidst the stunning landscapes of the Swabian Alb. we got as promised a royal promises history, beauty, and awe-inspiring vistas. In a Guided Castle Tour we explored the rich history and architectural splendor of Castle Lichtenstein. Our knowledgeable guide showed us the halls and chambers, sharing fascinating stories and insights about this medieval gem.
Read moreFor Saturday the 9th September, ASSIST invited the international students of the University of Ulm too met for a game event called “Ackergolf”.
The day has been a beautiful sunny day. We have been a small group of Students and Senior Consultants but very motivated to enjoy the Game.
Despite the early departure, all registered participants were on time and enjoyed the coolness of the morning. By train we went to Riedlingen and then by bus to Zwiefalten. After a short walk through the park, we were already at Zwiefalten Cathedral, the first highlight of the day.
