Team Building – Senior Consultants Visit Limes Museum

A group of ASSIST Senior Consultants visited the Limes Museum in Aalen. The museum is located on the exact spot where a Roman cavalry battalion stood 2,000 years ago. 1,000 soldiers were stationed here.
The excursion took the ASSIST Team into the world of the “ancient Romans”. The Limes, the northern border between the Roman Empire and Germania, ran through here. Between the years 160 – 260, Roman soldiers and Germanic tribes lived in peaceful coexistence on both sides of the Limes. The exhibition spans the period from Caesar and the Roman Empire to the beginning of the migration of peoples in Central Europe and gives visitors an insight into the everyday life, diet and weapons of the soldiers.
