Blog: Visit to the Danube-Swabian Museum Ulm on Saturday, March 29, 2025

On Saturday the 29th March 14 Students from 9 different countries visited the Danube Swabien Museum. The interest was hight and the Students have been very impressed. This experience is a motivation for ASSIST to continue withe the new offering.

The history of the Danube Swabians is an example of European migration combined with new beginnings and encounters. The museum shows life and culture of emigrants and subsequent generations in the multi-ethnic region on the Danube. It illustrates the consequences of nationalism and forced migration in the 20th century and in this way aims to contribute to mutual understanding in Europe.
