Slow motion. Mirror images. Exchanging gestures.
Transcultural Theater Workshop „Together in Diversity„

Doing something completely different: On January 24, ASSIST organized its first theater workshop for students, led by theater educator Claudia Schoeppl.
Theater director Claudia Schoeppl from “Theatro International” succeeded in getting participants to step out of their comfort zone for an afternoon and expand their movement repertoire with lots of laughter and fun together with international students from the University of Ulm. We learned simple basic exercises from theater education, such as: the freeze frame, slow motion, mirror images, exchanging gestures or sounds.

Yes, it makes a huge difference whether you sit comfortably in the theater and watch, or whether you venture up onto the stage and can clearly feel your heart beating. We had so much fun together and it was clear to everyone: we would love to do something like this again.
