Visit to Lord Mayor Martin Ansbacher

Ten international students, representatives of the International Office at Ulm University, and representatives of ASSIST accepted an invitation from Lord Mayor, Martin Ansbacher. In the small conference room of the Ulm Town Hall, the mayor presented his city: data on the population and economy, the structures of the administration, and the topic of citizen participation.

The students were particularly interested in participation, and the discussion
was correspondingly lively, with some spontaneous suggestions for improvement being made.

At the end, the group visited the so-called “Verschwörhaus” (Conspiracy House). Here, there are colorful event rooms, co-working spaces, and labs covering 240 square meters. It is a perfect place to come back to, especially for young people.
